A Case of Thymic Hyperplasia
Abstract
Thymic hyperplasia is relatively common in childhood. But, due to the variety of its location and morphology, it is difficult to discriminate thymic hyperplasia from other mediastinal masses or pneumonic consolidations. We report a case of
mediastinal
mass that was diagnosed as thymic hyperplasia based on dramatic response to steroid treatment.
